One of Europe's oldest cattle breeds, Kerry oxen are indigenous to Ireland and first arrived in the United States in the early 1800s. The oxen are identifiable by their solid black color, small size, and unique white horns with black tips. Today, Kerry oxen are considered rare and endangered, and we are proud to help preserve this heritage breed! Learn more about the animals at Old World Wisconsin.
