A fearsome, mischievous creature who hunts the north woods of Wisconsin, the "hodag" has been known to dine on fish, earth, and beef-on-a-stick. It was first "discovered" by Eugene Shepard in Rhinelander, WI in the year 1893, and the "hoax" only ended after the Smithsonian attempted to send a naturalist to verify the existence of the animal.

      Steps for capturing a hodag:

      1) Dig a hole 50 feet wide and 30 feet deep.

      2) Cover the hole with brush and branches.

      3) Use an ox as bait to lure the hodag to the trap.
